RedR Disaster Relief Challege, 2005

We have several opportunities each year for volunteers at RedR. You can get involved in anything from organising an event to helping out in our UK office.  This will be an opportunity to learn about RedR and develop new skills, while gaining valuable experience in the humanitarian sector.
 
Volunteering for RedR will mean that you are working with others who are committed to overcoming poverty and suffering and helping to make a difference.

Membership Volunteer

Role purpose: To assist the membership officer with day-to-day duties
Responsible to: 
Chantal McIlveen-Wright, Membership & Recruitment Manager
Working with: 
Colleagues within RedR and external contacts as necessary

Role Description:

  • To provide administrative support to the membership functions of the team.
  • To respond to enquiries from current members, answering queries, gathering information or signposting as required.
  • To respond to enquiries from prospective members, encouraging them to apply for RedR membership.
  • To update, develop and maintain the membership aspects of the database.
  • To manipulate the membership database to produce information for purposes of reporting.

Volunteer – Facilities and IT

Role purpose: To provide admin, IT and facilities support to the RedR office
Responsible to: Trevour Skingle, Facilities and IT Manager
Working with: Colleagues within RedR and external contacts as necessary

Role Description:

A major part of your role will be to support the IT & Facilities Manager and RedR staff with the imminent office move as we relocate to Kennington Lane. You will also be providing general office support including: responding to internal requests, general administrative and IT duties, taking calls, handling enquires and liaising with external contacts as necessary.
