    Robert Hodgson joined RedR in 1980. He is a civil and geotechnical engineer working independently with a number of consultancies, including Patrons Black & Veatch, with whom he originally trained.

    Peter Sweetnam is currently Vice Chair of the RedR Board of Trustees, and has been on the board for over three years.

  • John Howard

    Area of expertise: Emergencies Technical Advice
     

    John Howard has a background in commercial mechanical engineering, although most of his professional life has been spent working in the humanitarian sector, specialising in emergency water supply, sanitation and shelter.

  • P J Greeves

    Area of expertise: Finance
     

    PJ accumulated 29 years' experience in commercial finance before making the move to the not-for-profit sector in 1999, and is currently RedR's Treasurer.

  • Tim Foster

    Area of expertise: Chartered Engineer
     

    Tim Foster is a chartered engineer who specialises in humanitarian work. He has been involved with RedR as a member and trainer since the early eighties.

  • Peter Goulding

    Peter is a drainage engineer at Tameside MBC with 36 years' experience in Local Government.

  • Katharine Collett
    Job title: Trustee
    Area of expertise: Strategic Marketing and Executive Coach
     

    Katharine has spent all of her life working in health-related fields. She is a marketing professional with over 20 years' expertise, and is currently completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Coaching.

  • Jane Moore
    Job title: Trustee
    Area of expertise: Public Health Professional
     

    Jane trained as a registered general nurse/midwife, and has been working in the field of humanitarianism as a public health professional since she qualified with an MPH (Master of Public Health) from Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine in 1968.

  • Mark Buttle
    Job title: Trustee
    Area of expertise: Water Engineering
     

    Mark Buttle joined RedR following his MSc at the Water, Engineering and Development Centre (WEDC) in Loughborough, in 1998, and was posted to Albania during the Kosovo Crisis. Since then he has worked in Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Pakistan.

    Roland has over 30 years' experience of working in the NGO sector, and is a long-standing member of RedR.

  • Melvin Tebutt

    Melvin has been a RedR member for 16 years. He developed the competency-based recruitment and placement system for the membership register (1996-7).

    Isobel Hunter is an independent Human Resources consultant working mainly with the not-for-profit sector.
