  1. What does RedR mean?

    RedR used to stand for Register of Engineers for Disaster Relief. It is now used as a stand-alone name.

  2. When was RedR set up?

    RedR was founded in 1980 by Peter Guthrie and formally set up in 1982. Please see the history page under About Us for more details.

  3. When did it merge with International Health Exchange?

    RedR merged with International Health Exchange in 2003 to broaden its scope and is continuing to expand its services to health professionals.

  4. What is RedR UK's relationship with RedR international?

    RedR UK is part of the RedR Federation. Each international office shares the same mission, vision and principles but operates in slightly different ways.

  5. How do I find out about the international RedRs?

    Find out about the international RedRs by visiting www.redr.org and selecting a country office.
