Get involved

There are lots of ways that your company or institution, and your staff or members, can get involved. Here are just a few:

Company gifts

Donations and gifts in kind, such as products and services, are invaluable to our disaster relief work. In addition to helping us support communities affected by disasters worldwide, you can benefit from offsetting your charitable giving against your company’s corporate tax.

Payroll giving

Payroll giving is an easy, tax-free way for employees to give to RedR. Contact us to find out more about the benefits of supporting this scheme and how RedR can help you introduce and promote it to your staff.

Sponsorship

We have a range of sponsorship opportunities that can help raise your brand profile and enhance your corporate image, whilst enabling us to raise more money to develop our vital work.

Your company can sponsor one of our publications, a RedR training course or an event such as our bi-annual conference, enabling you to raise your profile among our corporate and humanitarian partners.

Motivate your employees

Staff fundraising opportunities provide a great outlet for enthusiastic staff who want to give something back. Employees can participate in a number of RedR events throughout the year, including the Disaster Relief Challenge, Virgin London Marathon, the Rat Race Urban Adventure Series and Wear Red for RedR day.

Our team of dedicated fundraisers will also motivate, support and encourage your staff to organise and get involved in any of their own fundraising events. You might want to support your employees in their fundraising activities by committing to match any funds they raise.

Develop your staff

We run a wide range of training courses that prepare people for work in disaster relief and development. Our training courses are widely recognised by the international humanitarian community.

By encouraging staff to attend our courses, your company will show commitment to employees with an interest in humanitarian work; equip them with essential humanitarian skills and knowledge; help contribute to future disaster response and invest in valuable transferable skills in areas like communication and project management.

Employee volunteering

We’ve got lots of opportunities for volunteering, including administrative tasks, representing RedR at various events and participating in simulation exercises on our training courses.

Your staff can also put their own technical skills to use by getting involved in responding to urgent queries from relief workers worldwide through our Technical Support Service.
