Catherine Gladwell

Catherine has worked in the humanitarian sector for the last ten years, with a particular focus on education in emergencies and forced migration.

Catherine is the Director of Refugee Support Network (RSN), a London-based NGO providing education support to refugee children.  Alongside her work at RSN, Catherine also works as a consultant for Jigsaw Consult, working on refugee and emergency education projects for various international NGOs and UN agencies including Save the Children, War Child, UNHCR and the Norwegian Refugee Council. Before working at RSN, Catherine worked in humanitarian education policy and with young refugees at Save the Children UK. She has designed and delivered training on working with children in emergency and displacement contexts for diverse audiences, ranging from teachers in refugee camps to government ministers. She is a qualified teacher and has an MA in Education and International Development.
