Denis has worked with international humanitarian NGOs for over 12 years, managing operations in nine countries across Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. He was involved in several humanitarian responses including the Tsunami response in Sri Lanka, the Haiti earthquake, Somali refugee camps in Ethiopia and the Syrian Crisis in Lebanon and Jordan.
He has significant multi-sectoral experience through overseeing operations in several sectors including food security, livelihoods, health, nutrition, education, WASH, food/NFI and infrastructure. Also, as a member of senior leadership for several years, he has a full range of organisational and leadership skills that he draws from.
Throughout his career, he has focused on building strong teams through formal and informal capacity building methods including training, coaching and mentoring. This has given Denis strong design and facilitation skills, which he brings along with his years of practical experience to his trainings, making them engaging and relevant.
