Elena Oyon has a background in training within the international development sector with experience in delivering sustainability-focused training in the UK and overseas. Elena holds a BA in History with a research focus on minorities in the UK, specifically Gypsies and Travellers.
Overseas, Elena has worked on capacity building projects in community resilience and WASH in India and Nicaragua. In the UK, Elena has delivered training on areas including training of trainers, leadership, project management and coaching.
She is passionate about community capacity building within the development and humanitarian context to ensure more effective and sustainable practices.
Elena has experience of designing and delivering training courses and workshops in Spanish and English for audiences including young people and community beneficiaries.
As RedR Training coordinator, Elena delivers and coordinates training on our Open and Tailor-made programmes in the UK and overseas.
