Francesca Ballarin

Francesca is an independent consultant with extensive experience in training and facilitation in disaster and post-conflict situations. In the past 17 years she worked for different International NGOs, UN Agencies, European Union, Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other Institutions in several countries (Afghansitan, Albania, Angola, El Salvador, Kosovo, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Montenegro-FRY, occupied territories of Palestine, Pakistan, Syria, Sudan, Turkey among others). 

Her work in the field concentrated on quality and accountability of humanitarian action with a focus on training, learning and capacity development for aid workers, NGOs, CBOs, UN Agencies and Governments. She holds a Master Degree in Psychology and gained considerable experience in the area of child protection and child rights in emergency, psychosocial support, psychological first aid, case management and early childhood development

Francesca is a qualified Sphere – Minimum Standards in Humanitarian Response, INEE Standard for Education in Emergency, and Child Protection in Emergency Standards

 As a RedR trainer Francesca has been delivering trainings and training of trainers on quality and accountability standards.
