Peter Curran

Peter is an independent consultant (director of Explorer Consulting Limited) who works internationally with NGOs, public and commercial organisations, mostly in developing countries. Previously an HR and Learning and Development Manager in a large organisation, he specialises in management training, facilitation, teambuilding and HR support in development/emergency settings. 

Recent projects have included management training in Myanmar, Palestine, Rwanda, Ethiopia, and Angola, facilitation of regional leadership events in Kenya and Senegal, and HR and OD work in South Sudan.

Peter enjoys interacting with cross-cultural teams, working in challenging environments, and the satisfaction of supporting managers, individuals and teams to make a real difference in their roles, organisation and country/region. 

With Redr, Peter has delivered Monitoring and Evaluation in Emergencies training (for Red Cross), designed leadership training for Cluster Coordination Teams (for UNICEF), and designed and delivered HR in Emergencies training for HR Managers (for Plan).
