Richard is a reflective humanitarian practitioner working in the not for profit sector with specialisation in humanitarian coordination, WASH and management, with growing experience in shelter programmes, work in urban environments and examining subsides/payments in relief and recovery. As an independent consultant for the last 5 years, he has worked in short term coordination & programme positions, undertaken humanitarian programme reviews/evaluation, developed and ran training courses. This builds upon over 20 years working for Oxfam, DFID and UNICEF in a variety of roles from programme positions, though to general coordination and management. As a chartered engineer Richard seeks to bring the highest professional standards into all my work.
