Samir Maleh

Samir has been working with international humanitarian NGOs for more than twelve years in complex emergency and post crisis contexts like Darfur, Somalia, Ethiopia, Haiti, Niger, DRC, Ivory Coast, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Central African Republic.

In his role as a Project Coordinator and Country Director, Samir is engaged in all aspects of a humanitarian response at field and capital level. Samir has extensive experience in managing and leading large teams in challenging and dynamic humanitarian environments and has been in charge of multi sectorial program and strategy development for Nutrition, Health, Water Sanitation & Hygiene, Food Security & Livelihoods, Disaster Risk Reduction sectors.

As an Associate Trainer with RedR, Samir is using his extensive field experience in emergencies to bring training sessions as close to the field reality of participants as possible.

Samir holds a Master’s Degree in International Humanitarian Program Coordination and is PMD Pro certified.
