Managing the implementation of shelter programmes is a fundamental part of any humanitarian response. Even when managers and coordinators are not directly responsible for the technical delivery of a programme, they will need to identify the scope of shelter programming and understand the standards used in order to make informed decisions.
The workshop will provide an overview of the shelter sector, identifying the breadth of issues in the sector, including principles and common practices.
Shelter Managers, Coordinators or Generalist’s responsible for shelter, from the field or HQ.
This is a participatory workshop, bringing together a range of organisations providing various points of reference and experiences.
Registration will take place from 9 am and the course will end by 5 pm.
