RedR training in the UK
RedR runs a unique training programme and other learning events for NGOs and individuals across the humanitarian sector.
Our courses are continually evolving to cover the issues that matter, in order to meet the real needs of aid workers in the field. We deliver a full range of training courses, starting from a basic introduction to working in the sector, through to professional courses for experienced aid workers across a wide range of disciplines.
RedR is the only UK charity to provide training in security management and personal security, giving us unrivalled strengths and experience in this area.
We are at the forefront of the drive to professionalise the humanitarian sector, by providing a number of credit-rated courses that contributes to a postgraduate university qualification. This encourages Continuing Professional Development (CPD) amongst aid workers. Many organisations already include our courses in their CPD schemes.
“This innovative partnership means people working in crisis situations will have access to high quality University level training.”
Janet Beer, Oxford Brookes University Vice-Chancellor

"Learning from experienced humanitarian workers who have been in the field and from other sector professionals was great! They were passionate about their work but realistic in their discussions and advice, which was extremely educational. Meeting other course participants and having the opportunity to network was also very useful.”
