Active training session Participants on Essentials of Humanitarian Practice

Active Learning

Each course is developed through identifying core learning outcomes, establishing an appropriate curriculum and addressing the expectations of each participant.

The emphasis is on active learning through:

  •     Participatory group exercises
  •     Case studies
  •     Role-plays
  •     Focused discussions
  •     Simulations and practice with equipment used in the field

Training is planned and presented in collaboration with relief agencies and specialist organisations, using the latest examples. Informal exchange of experience is a vital part of every course.
