RedR training in action
We are always looking for qualified individuals to join our pool of freelance associate trainers and facilitators and contribute to our programme of training for humanitarian workers. Our associate trainers participate in many ways, including developing new materials, convening events and running courses and sessions.
At the moment we would like to welcome applications from people with a security background. If you can deliver group presentations, manage group dynamics and enable a group to learn together, then we would like to hear from you.
For further details please complete the application form and return it to the Training Team. Download our application form at the top right of the page.
Due to limited resources we will only contact applicants that have the skills and experience that match our requirements. We will aim to contact successful applicants within 30 days. If you don't hear from us within this time please consider your application unsucessful.
Due to the expansion of programmes in the East Africa region, RedR UK are looking for experienced, qualified training professionals to join our pool of RedR UK Associate Trainers.
Associate trainers with RedR UK are listed on our consultant database and offered training work as and when needed and paid a daily rate. For this reason we cannot guarantee regular training opportunities. However, given current levels of demand we anticipate there will be many opportunities in the coming months.
In addition to training events our Associate Trainers from time to time work closely with the RedR UK Learning & Development and International Programmes teams to develop new materials, and convene events for humanitarian workers.
If you are a training professional with 5 years or more of field based humanitarian experience and you are based in Kenya or the East Africa region, wewould welcome an application from you.
Those, who applied for the first Associate Trainers Assessment day in October 2011, should not apply again.
We are particularly looking for trainers with experience and proficiency in disaster risk reduction and logistics.
You will be expected to demonstrate the ability to design and/or revise training curriculum, deliver group presentations, manage group dynamics and enable groups to learn together.
RedR UK has identified proficiencies as being desirable in its training teams. For details click here.
