We have 30 years experience recruiting specialist professionals following major emergencies, such as the Haiti earthquake and the Pakistan floods in 2010.
We operate across a wide range of sectors and countries, and through our register of 1,700 highly experienced Members we are able to respond to emergencies at short notice.

Ensuring quality
We only recruit candidates from our register of assessed Members. RedR Members have extensive field experience. All Members undergo a strict vetting process to ensure they have the right knowledge, skills and competencies to be deployed in an emergency situation.
As part of the assessment, we conduct a intensive 4-stage application process, a panel interview with experts in the candidate's area of specialisation and we check professional references.The evaluation process covers:
- Previous humanitarian field experience
- An assessment of competencies
- Consideration of managerial skills, from technical supervision to programme management
- Evaluation of personal qualities, including team-working skills, cross-cultural sensitivity, tolerance, etc.
