    On Sunday 22 April 2007, ten runners took on the Flora London Marathon in support of RedR. They faced the 26.2 mile course around central London to raise money for the charity that provides training to individuals and organisations involved in humanitarian and disaster relief programmes around the world.

    DFID have confirmed their continued funding and commitment to RedR-IHE's Programme in Sudan. The Safety and Security Learning Programme will run from November 2006 to April 2007 with the aim of equipping aid workers in Darfur with the skills and knowledge to better manage safety and security in their organisations.
