A Member of RedR since 1994, Tim has worked with Oxfam GB in the Rwandan refugee camps in Goma, Eastern DRC, in late 1994 to early 1995 as Technical Team Leader.
Area of interest
Before pursuing his career in humanitarian relief Tim worked in Civil Engineering. Subsequently he has worked for Oxfam, UNHCR, MSF(F) and Mercy Corps. In 2000 he took on the role of Training Manager at RedR until 2006.
After leaving RedR he has worked in Water & Sanitation for Urban Poor (WSUP) developing the capacity of service providers and utilities, etc. to be able to provide an acceptable level of water and sanitation services to those living in low income urban communities. This has extended his international experience, as well as involving project and programme management and organisational governance.
