This is the second in our series of blogs that celebrates RedR UK. Last month, we interviewed the Founder of RedR UK, Peter Guthrie, and this month we’ve outlined RedR UK’s key milestones from the past 40 years.
RedR UK’s mission is to give people the skills to be ready for and respond to disasters worldwide, and the timeline shows some of the devastating emergencies RedR UK has responded to, by deploying engineers and facilitating vital training that empowers local people.
We’d like to say a big thank you to our members, patrons, staff, associate trainers and supporters who have helped us train life-savers around the world for the past 40 years.
Here’s to another 40 years of building the knowledge and skills of individuals and organisations for more effective humanitarian action.
