Urban Humanitarian Workshop Series: Working with the Neighborhood Approach
PCI Global and RedR UK are hosting a series of consultative workshops focused on the challenges and best practices for urban projects using a Neighborhood Approach:
This one-day workshop is the second in the series, and will gather practitioners and specialists to focus on implementation in the Neighborhood Approach, share experiences, and contribute to the development of a technical how-to guide for humanitarian actors working in complex humanitarian contexts. PCI is developing this guidance supported by USAID, with final distribution expected at the end of 2019.
The workshop objectives are:
1 To present and discuss the Neighborhood Approach, with an emphasis on programming
2 To test the technical how-to guide currently in progress through consultation
3 To share experiences, ideas and best practices to support practitioners using the approach
Registration for the event is free. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Attendees are responsible for their own travel and accommodation where applicable.
