Hands-on Weekend provides individuals an interesting and unique first insight into humanitarian work in a practical way. It takes place at Warnham Park, a deer farm in Sussex. We will set up camp for the weekend, get muddy as we embark on a plethora of disaster relief activities, and join in the humanitarian stories around the campfire. This year we will focus on SHELTER IN EMERGENCIES. Participants will get involved in four practical workshops and hear from speakers about various issues around humanitarian response.
Previously, these weekends have proved to be very popular and always sell out, so reserve your place quickly not to get disappointed.
Cost: £50 (£45 concession) registration fee, no fundraising involved.
