Annual Leave
Starting on 23 days leave per year, rising by one day per year’s service to a maximum of 28 days.
Learning and Development
RedR encourages continuous professional development for staff and volunteers and provides time and money to do this. As a guide this will be five days per person per year and our staff development budget will be 2.5 per cent of staff costs.
Other types of leave
RedR provides special leave to cover compassionate grounds, emergency family/home situations and provides up to three paid days per year for you to act in a voluntary capacity as a trustee of another voluntary organisation, school or public body.
RedR provides maternity, paternity, adoption and parental leave and pay in accordance to current UK statutes.
Pension
RedR operates a Group Personal Pension Plan with Aviva (depending upon residency) and will contribute up to a maximum of 5% of gross salary to match the employee’s payments.
Season Ticket Loan
An interest free season ticket loan is available to staff members upon satisfactory completion of the probation period.
'Cycle to Work' Scheme
On completion of your probationary period, you will be entitled to purchase a bike through Evans Cycles and pay for it over a 12-month period from your gross salary, saving up to 40% from the cost through savings in VAT, Income Tax and National Insurance.
Childcare Vouchers
RedR's Childcare Vouchers scheme is operated through Busy Bees. Parents can purchase vouchers from Busy Bees which can be redeemed against most forms of childcare. The vouchers will then be deducted from your gross salary and are tax-free and National Insurance exempt so you can make savings of up to £1,196 per year, per parent.
Working Hours
35 working hours per week. RedR is committed to offering flexible working arrangements where operationally feasible.
