About the role

The Fundraising & Communication team is based in London and raises around £1.2 million each year. 

This post is an exciting opportunity for a fundraiser, who wants to practice and further develop their Corporate relationships skills while being a part of a creative, fun and supportive team. If you enjoy relationship building, corporate fundraising, are organised, motivated and have excellent attention to detail, and want to build on your experience and skills in a varied fundraising role, you are what we are looking for!

The post holder will work closely with the Philanthropy and Special Events Manager and the wider fundraising team to manage and develop our corporate fundraising portfolio, taking responsibility for a number of key accounts across the engineering, insurance, and other industries. RedR UK has a long history of success with major international companies, and a unique portfolio of employee engagement activities and are looking to build on this into the future.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Description

  • Deliver the corporate fundraising income and expenditure budget contributing to the overall income within the fundraising strategy

  • Maintain existing and develop new corporate relationships with mid-level supporters
  • Design and deliver a bespoke communication and contact strategy
  • Identify and secure new corporate partnerships including Charity of the Year, CRM and CSR opportunities.
  • Secure sponsorship for RedR UK’s major events through development of strong pitches, researching potential sponsors to target and negotiating contracts.
  • Research existing past, present and prospective corporate and higher net worth individuals and help determine the best, tailored fundraising approach for each
  • Promote RedR UK’s vision and mission to relevant corporate partners by making presentations to specific target groups and attend engagement presentations.
  • Help with planning, logistics and marketing of all RedR UK Special Events including the annual Patrons Dinner, Patrons Drinks reception, Vice Presidents’ events, Royal Palace dinners, and other events that arise
  • Meet or exceed fundraising targets for the corporate income
  • As part of the above, to attend corporate partner offices to deliver presentations and our exciting Disaster Relief Workshop and Simulation days
  • Represent RedR at external events where appropriate
  • Work with the Philanthropy and Special Events Manager to set, monitor and forecast accurate budgets and issue reports as required
  • Work occasional weekends and evenings where necessary
  • Any other reasonable tasks or duties as required by the line manager or organisation
