The workshops will be delivered in February 2019 as part of the Bridging the Gap project which seeks to enhance inclusion and understanding between faith actors and humanitarian actors working in South Sudan. The project is funded by the Government of Belgium and is implemented by RedR UK in consortium with five other organisations.
The workshop will focus on bringing direct project stakeholders and other organisations working together in South Sudan to launch the project and gather their input. Topics are likely to include: why faith literacy?; sensitisation and key terms; faith actors and people of faith; religious context in South Sudan, interfaith and intra-faith dialogue; diversity; increasing the participation of and coordination with faith actors for humanitarian response. The agenda of the workshop is to be developed in consultation with project partners.
The workshop will be delivered face-to-face over one day, and will run in three locations, at least one of which will be Juba.
