This Travel Safety course provides crucial knowledge and skills for staff or individuals making short field visits, or visiting fairly safe locations for longer periods.
The course imparts essential knowledge on assessing and reducing risks through context assessments , awareness of image and perception, interpersonal communications, trip planning and concrete tips for staying safe in vehicles and hotels.

Define the term Security
Explain the importance of context analysis
Describe individual and organisational factors that can affect the security situation
Carry out a threat, vulnerability, risk analysis
Identify simple strategies for mitigating impact and probability of risks
Demonstrate how interpersonal communication can be used to diffuse anger
Identify key vehicle security procedures
