Do we offer any price reductions or assistance?

  • For some courses, RedR UK offers Early Bird tickets (10% Discount), which are available until 1 month before the course start date, after which standard fees will apply. 
  • RedR UK is committed to making our courses accessible to any organisation, regardless of size. We offer course scholarships for eligible participants who meet specific criteria. 

Information about our courses:

  • Our courses are aimed at participants with different levels of experience. Some courses, however are aimed specifically at beginners, whereas others do require a greater degree of field experience. You can find this information about each course on the course page on the website, along with course schedules, and prices.

What’s included in the course fee for face-to-face courses?

  • Most of our face-to-face courses will include arrival refreshments, lunch and refreshment breaks throughout the course, which are included in the course fee. 
  • All participants will receive a hard copy workbook that compliments the training content.
  • HPass badge and/or certificate upon completion of the course.
  • All our courses are non-residential, with the exception of our PSH/HEAT course which does include full board. The course fee does not include travel or accommodation, this is solely the responsibility of the participant. 
  • RedR is unable to support participants in booking travel or accommodation.

What’s included in the course fee for on-line courses? 

  • Individualized virtual support for logging and for accessing our e-learning platform (when applicable) as requested, pre, during and after the course. 
  • All participants will receive a soft copy of the workbook that compliments the training content. 
  • HPass badge and/or certificate upon completion of the course. 
  • RedR is unable to record and share the live, facilitated sessions. 

Will I get a certificate?

  • Upon completion of the course participants will be eligible to apply for a HPass Badge, a digital indicator of achievement, and a way for participants to demonstrate their skills and experience in the humanitarian sector. You can find more information on HPass Badges here.
  • Upon request, we can also issue a PDF certificate of attendance for taking part in RedR training courses. 

Are PowerPoint slides available to participants before or after the course?

  • PowerPoint slides are not available to participants. We provide a workbook for participants on most of our courses, which is densely packed with information on the slides and further reading on the topics covered.  

What is the credit-rated fee for?

  • The additional charge covers the cost of assessment and Oxford Brooks University (OBU) credit-rating, it applies to those wishing to be assessed in-class and complete the post-class written assessment. 
  • The additional charge can be paid at the time of the original course booking, or at any subsequent time up until the course start date. Retrospective payment of the fee is not possible.
  • Only those who have paid the additional fee in advance will be assessed on the in-class component of the process, provided with feedback and eligible to complete the written assignment.

Will RedR help me obtain an entry visa if I need one?

  • Only upon receipt of a completed booking form and full payment of course fees will a letter of confirmation be provided. This letter is a standard format and will be emailed to the applicant only. RedR cannot send letters to embassies, high commissions or consulates.
  • Applicants should ensure that they are able to meet the conditions for entry into the UK before applying for a course. Information on entry to the UK can be found here.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

What's the refund policy?

  • For bookings cancelled more than ten working* days before a course, administrative charges will apply. Applicants will be entitled to a refund of 75% of the course fees paid, or if places are available will be offered a transfer of 90% of the course fees paid onto the next instance of the course.
  • For bookings cancelled one to nine working days* before a course begins, 25% of the course fee will be refunded (*during normal UK working days, Monday-Friday and working hours 9am-5pm).
  • For bookings cancelled less than 24 hours (working days only) before a course, or after a course has started, no refund will be provided.
  • If a course starts on a Monday, you must cancel your booking prior to Friday in order to receive the 25% refund. 

  • If the applicant chooses to transfer to another course and then cancels their booking a second time, neither a further transfer nor a refund will be offered.
  • The refund must be claimed within two months from the cancelled course start date.
  • Please note that unfortunately we are only able to cover our local bank charges and not the recipient’s bank charges when we make refunds.
  • Refunds may take up to 30 days.

Are there provisions/ support for trainees with learning difficulties?

  • Our standard printing paper for all workbooks is white and the font we use is Arial size 12.
  • We are able to print workbooks on a variety of colours, with a range of font sizes.
  • RedR UK is committed to making sure everyone’s needs are met, including people of different genders, ages and disabilities.
