This module explores how to use evidence collected in needs assessment, an understanding of gaps in provision and an analysis of organisational strengths to identify potential projects to implement, how to select appropriate projects and how to present these to potential donors using a logical framework.

This module explores the key elements of planning that need to be undertaken when commencing a project: scope, time, resource, stakeholder and risk. It provides an overview of key tools that can be used for planning projects and allows learners the opportunity to consider ways to improve project planning processes to ensure that project implementation is smooth.

This module explores the purpose of monitoring and evaluating a project, and when these activities take place in the project cycle. It defines key concepts including goals, outcomes, outputs and activities, indicators and means of verification. The module is contextualised for Pakistan flood response, and is designed to support learners to apply practical considerations.
