Background: Linda Richardson started her career as a trainer in Oxfam where she worked for 9 years, before moving to Edinburgh and becoming a learning and development consultant. She has been a RedR Associate Trainer since 2005 and for 10 years she worked extensively with RedR developing and facilitating learning events and resources to support emergency preparedness and response in many countries.
Areas of interest: In 2006, Linda co-founded All In Diary which produces a practical information resource for humanitarian workers. Through this she has gained experience in all the challenges of developing and managing a small, under-resourced NGO which punches above its weight.
Linda believes providing appropriate, timely, succinct, up-to-date, accessible information and learning to field workers is essential to ensure effective responses to emergencies and she is keen to support RedR’s continued success in this field.
