City Giving Day Raises Funds for RedR

On Tuesday 27th September, staff at RedR's newest Patron firm Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) came together in support of RedR for City Giving Day 2016.

Staff from across JLT wore red, made donations and bought bacon sandwiches, raising almost £1,000 in just one day to support RedR’s vital disaster relief work around the globe.

The day also marked the official launch of the new partnership, with a cheque presentation from JLT’s Charity Committee Chair, Paul Dransfield.

JLT organised a fantastic morning which not only raised vital funds but also gave my team and I an opportunity to engage with staff from across the firm’s various disciplines. My thanks to everyone who got involved by wearing red and donating to our work, and to the committee for arranging it all - it marks a very positive start to the partnership.
