Module aim
The module aims at improving learners' ability to coordinate services and monitor needs in order to provide better support to displaced people in the Ukraine humanitarian response.
Module description
This module provides an overview of the minimum standards concerning site service coordination, monitoring and reporting. The module explores how to coordinate services to meet the needs of displaced and host populations (standard 4.1) and how this links to the principles of partnership; and how to assess, monitor and report on the site population's needs (standard 4.2). The module explores how to apply these standards in the Ukraine humanitarian response.
There are no pre-requisites for this module, but it is recommended that learners are familiar with the purpose and core content of the Minimum Standards before attending the module. Learners who wish to deepen their understanding before participating in this module are encouraged to watch the video 'Supporting displaced populations in the Ukraine humanitarian response: An introduction to the minimum standards for displacement sites' and participate in the module 'Supporting displaced populations in the Ukraine humanitarian response: Using the Minimum Standards in practice'.
This module is a facilitated module which uses participatory methods. It is expected that learners will participate in discussions and activities in order to deepen their understanding of the concepts that are discussed. Participants will be offered opportunities to share relevant personal experiences and reflections to benefit their own and others' learning. At the end of the module, participants will be provided with a summary of key messages from the module and a list of relevant resources.
Module objectives
• Explain the importance of coordinating services between humanitarian organisations, authorities and site populations,
• Describe the principles of partnership and explain how these apply in the context of site management,
• Identify key stakeholders at global, country, site and community level that are relevant to your work and consider their primary interests and concerns in relation to the site,
• Describe key actions to take to ensure services are coordinated to meet the needs of the displaced and host populations,
• Explain the importance of assessing, monitoring and reporting on the site population's needs and of coordinating this with other actors,
• Describe key actions to ensure the site population's needs are monitored and reported on through established systems,
• Identify your own next steps for improving your ability to effectively coordinate between actors and assess, monitor and report on needs amongst site residents.
Who should attend?
This module is aimed at anyone who is working or volunteering with displaced people in Ukraine or neighbouring countries who may be involved in coordinating or implementing services, or assessing, monitoring and reporting on needs of displaced people.
Course structure
95 minutes online session inclusive of a 10-min break in the middle (facilitated on zoom)
How to join
If you would like to attend, please register through Eventbrite. You will receive instructions on how to join the course after registration. The live online sessions are hosted on Zoom. We recommend joining via the Zoom app. Participants may join the training via a browser, although the browser offers limited access to some of the interactive features of the training. Participants will be expected to have a stable internet connection and to actively participate in all facilitated sessions.
What is the language of the training?
Training will be facilitated by RedR UK international experts in the English language with simultaneous interpretation available in Ukrainian.

Координаційні послуги та потреба в моніторингу
Модуль спрямований на покращення здатності слухачів координувати послуги та контролювати потреби, щоб надати кращу підтримку переміщеним особам у рамках гуманітарної допомоги в Україні.
Опис модуля
Цей модуль надає огляд мінімальних стандартів щодо координації, моніторингу та звітності у місці переміщення. Модуль досліджує, як координувати послуги для задоволення потреб переміщених та приймаючих груп населення (стандарт 4.1) і як це пов’язано з принципами партнерства; а також як оцінювати, відстежувати та звітувати про потреби населення ділянки (стандарт 4.2). Модуль досліджує, як застосовувати ці стандарти під час гуманітарної допомоги Україні.
Для цього модуля немає жодних попередніх умов. Проте перед відвідуванням цього модуля учасникам рекомендується ознайомитися з метою та основним змістом Мінімальних стандартів. Слухачам, які бажають поглибити своє розуміння, перш ніж брати участь у цьому модулі, пропонується переглянути відео «Підтримка переміщеного населення в рамках гуманітарної допомоги в Україні: Ознайомлення з мінімальними стандартами для місць переміщення» та взяти участь у модулі «Підтримка переміщеного населення в гуманітарна відповідь в Україні: використання мінімальних стандартів на практиці».
Цей модуль є спрощеним модулем, який використовує методи участі. Очікується, що учні братимуть участь в дискусіях та заходах, щоб поглибити своє розуміння концепцій, які обговорюються. Учасникам буде запропоновано можливість поділитися відповідним особистим досвідом та міркуваннями на користь власного навчання та навчання інших. Наприкінці модуля учасникам буде надано короткий виклад ключових повідомлень з модуля та перелік відповідних ресурсів.
Завдання модуля
Пояснити важливість координації послуг між гуманітарними організаціями, органами влади та населенням об’єктів,
Описати принципи партнерства та пояснити, як вони застосовуються в контексті управління об’єктом,
Визначити ключові зацікавлені сторони на глобальному рівні, на рівні країни, сайту та громади, які мають відношення до вашої роботи, і врахувати їх основні інтереси та проблеми, пов’язані з об’єктом,
Описати ключові дії, які необхідно вжити для забезпечення координації послуг для задоволення потреб переміщених та приймаючих груп населення,
Пояснити важливість оцінки, моніторингу та звітності про потреби населення об’єкту та координації з іншими учасниками,
Описати ключові дії для забезпечення моніторингу потреб населення об’єкта та звітності про них через встановлені системи,
Ідентифікувати свої власні наступні кроки для покращення вашої здатності ефективно координувати дії між учасниками та оцінювати, відстежувати і звітувати про потреби серед мешканців об’єкту
Хто повинен брати участь?
Цей модуль призначений для тих, хто працює або волонтерить із переміщеними людьми в Україні чи сусідніх країнах і хто може бути залучений до координації чи реалізації послуг або оцінки, моніторингу та звітності про потреби переміщених осіб
Структура курсу
95-хвилинна онлайн-сесія, включаючи 10-хвилинну перерву в середині (провадиться за допомогою Zoom)
