This module aims at increasing learners' ability to provide support for displaced populations that is inclusive for people with disabilities
Module description
This module explores disability inclusion in the context of affected people living in collective centres and other displacement sites. It provides an overview of how the Minimum Standards standards and the disability inclusion monitoring checklist, provided in the annex to the Minimum Standards, can be applied in the Ukraine humanitarian response in order to improve disability inclusion.
There are no pre-requisites for this module, but it is recommended that learners are familiar with the purpose and core content of the Minimum Standards before attending the module. Learners who wish to deepen their understanding before participating in this module are encouraged to watch the video 'Supporting displaced populations in the Ukraine humanitarian response: An introduction to the minimum standards for displacement sites' and participate in the module 'Supporting displaced populations in the Ukraine humanitarian response: Using the Minimum Standards in practice'.
This module is a facilitated module which uses participatory methods. It is expected that learners will participate in discussions and activities in order to deepen their understanding of the concepts that are discussed. Participants will be offered opportunities to share relevant personal experiences and reflections to benefit their own and others' learning. At the end of the module, participants will be provided with a summary of key messages from the module and a list of relevant resources.

• Explain what is meant by disability inclusion and how the concept applies in collective centres and other displacement sites,
• Describe the importance of monitoring disability inclusion in collective centres and other displacement sites,
• List key actions to take to strengthen implementation and monitoring of disability inclusion,
• Identify actions you will undertake to assess or strengthen disability inclusion in your work as part of the Ukraine humanitarian response
Who should attend?
This module is for anyone who is working or volunteering with displaced people in Ukraine or neighbouring countries who would like to ensure that the support they provide for displaced people is inclusive and adequately addresses the needs of people with disabilities.
Course structure
An online facilitated session of 95 minutes’ duration inclusive of 10 minutes’ break (on zoom)
How to join
If you would like to attend, please register through Eventbrite. You will receive instructions on how to join the course after registration.
The live online sessions are hosted on Zoom. We recommend joining via the Zoom app. Participants may join the training via a browser, although the browser offers limited access to some of the interactive features of the training. Participants will be expected to have a stable internet connection and to actively participate in all facilitated sessions.
What is the language of the training?
Training will be facilitated by RedR UK international experts in the English language with simultaneous interpretation available in Ukrainian.

Цей модуль спрямований на підвищення спроможності учнів надавати підтримку переміщеним групам населення, яка є інклюзивною для людей з обмеженими можливостями.
Опис модуля
Цей модуль досліджує включення інвалідів у контексті постраждалих людей, які живуть у колективних центрах та інших місцях переміщення. У ньому наведено огляд того, як стандарти Мінімальних стандартів та контрольний перелік моніторингу залучення інвалідів, наведені в додатку до Мінімальних стандартів, можуть бути застосовані в рамках гуманітарного реагування в Україні з метою покращення інтеграції інвалідів.
Для цього модуля немає жодних попередніх умов. Проте перед відвідуванням цього модуля учасникам рекомендується ознайомитися з метою та основним змістом Мінімальних стандартів. Слухачам, які бажають поглибити своє розуміння, перш ніж брати участь у цьому модулі, пропонується переглянути відео «Підтримка переміщеного населення в рамках гуманітарної допомоги в Україні: Ознайомлення з мінімальними стандартами для місць переміщення» та взяти участь у модулі «Підтримка переміщеного населення в гуманітарна відповідь в Україні: використання мінімальних стандартів на практиці».
Цей модуль є спрощеним модулем, який використовує методи участі. Очікується, що учні братимуть участь в дискусіях та заходах, щоб поглибити своє розуміння концепцій, які обговорюються. Учасникам буде запропоновано можливість поділитися відповідним особистим досвідом та міркуваннями на користь власного навчання та навчання інших. Наприкінці модуля учасникам буде надано короткий виклад ключових повідомлень з модуля та перелік відповідних ресурсів.
Завдання модуля
Пояснити, що означає включення інвалідів і як ця концепція застосовується в колективних центрах та інших місцях переміщення,
Описати важливість моніторингу залучення інвалідів у колективних центрах та інших місцях переміщення,
Перелічити ключові дії, які необхідно вжити для посилення впровадження та моніторингу інтеграції інвалідів,
Визначити дії, які ви будете вживати для оцінки або посилення включення інвалідності у вашу роботу в рамках гуманітарної допомоги в Україні
Хто повинен брати участь?
Цей модуль призначений для тих, хто працює або волонтерить із переміщеними людьми в Україні чи сусідніх країнах та тих, які хотіли б бути впевненими, що підтримка, яку вони надають переміщеним особам, була всеохоплюючою та належним чином задовольнила потреби людей з обмеженими можливостями.

Онлайн-сесія тривалістю 95 хвилин, включаючи 10 хвилин перерви (провадиться за допомогою Zoom)
