This introductory Training of Trainers course aims to strengthen the capacity of local responders, partners and others, so they can contribute to the success of their projects and transfer learnings to their teams, facilitated online sessions, you will learn tips and techniques that will help you to:
This course will comprise individual and small group work assigned between each session. The facilitator will be available to provide support to students.
What does the course cover?
- By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Write SMART, learner-centred training objectives
- Prioritise content and establish key messages
- Present information simply and effectively
- Design practical activities and create session plans
- Facilitate groupwork and encourage active participation
Course Structure
The programme will be run over five days between the 3rd March - 7th of March 2024, allowing time for collaborative working and self-study.
Sessions will run between 10:00 and 12:30 UK time each day (UTC+1) apart from the last day (Thursday 7th March) where the session will run between 08:30 and 10:30 UK time. Please ensure you note all these dates and times carefully.
Who should attend?
The course is aimed at anyone who would like to learn more about training and facilitation using online tools. It will be of particular interest to anyone new to or with limited experience in training and facilitation.
HPass Badge
Upon completion of the course participants will be eligible to apply for a HPass Badge, a digital indicator of achievement, and a way for participants to demonstrate their skills and experience in the humanitarian sector. You can find more information on HPass Badges here.
