Enabling participants to identify at risk groups and barriers, and analyse inclusion principles in the context of Ukraine

This module examines how at-risk populations and subpopulations are often excluded in a humanitarian response and the current challenges emerging in Ukraine and neighbouring countries regarding inclusion.
The module helps participants to identify barriers to inclusion and embed key concepts and principles in their work. Using case studies and participative methodology, participants will reflect on the Ukraine context and consider how to prioritise key actions in their work.
Module Objectives
By the end of the session you will be able to:
- List key at risk populations and subpopulations in the context of Ukraine
- Analyse key inclusion principles and how to embed them into programmes: data and information management, addressing barriers, participation of older people and people with disabilities, and strengthening of their capacities
- Assess key concepts and barriers to inclusion
- Explain how to prioritise and apply actions that will improve inclusion programming in your humanitarian response
Course Structure
The module comprises two live facilitated sessions, each 60 minutes duration
TOTAL 120 minutes
Participants will be asked to watch a short video prior to the live sessions.
Who should attend?
This training is for people responding to the humanitarian needs of people affected by the conflict inside and outside Ukraine, who would like to ensure they are working inclusively regarding gender, age and disability. Participants may work or volunteer in humanitarian, development or human rights organisations, in Community Based Organisations (CBOs), Organisations for People with Disabilities (OPDs), Older People's Associations (OPAs), Faith-Based Organisations (FBOs), women’s rights or youth groups.
This course is offered for free; on a first come, first served basis. We will be creating a waiting list, so please email us if the course is already full so we can keep you in mind if anybody drops out.
How to join
If you would like to attend, please register through Eventbrite. You will receive instructions on how to join the course after registration.
The live online sessions are hosted on Zoom. We recommend joining via the Zoom app. Participants may join the training via a browser, although the browser offers limited access to some of the interactive features of the training. Participants will be expected to have a stable internet connection and to actively participate in all facilitated sessions.
What is the language of the training?
Training will be facilitated by RedR UK international experts in the English language with simultaneous interpretation available in Ukrainian.

Hpass badge
Upon completion of the course participants will be eligible to apply for a HPass Badge, a digital indicator of achievement, and a way for participants to demonstrate their skills and experience in the humanitarian sector. You can find more information on HPass Badges here.

Planowanie inkluzywnej pomocy humanitarnej
Ten moduł dotyczy tego, jak bardziej zagrożone grupy i podgrupy są często wyłączone z pomocy humanitarnej oraz jakie wyłaniają się obecnie wyzwania na Ukrainie i w krajach sąsiadujących jeśli chodzi o inkluzywność.
Moduł pomoże uczestnikom zidentyfikować bariery inkluzywności oraz jak wprowadzić kluczową koncepcję i założenia inkluzywności w ich pracę. Korzystając z przykładowych przypadków i metodologii uczestnictwa, osoby biorące udział będą mogły rozważyć to w kontekście Ukrainy i zastanowić się, jak nadać priorytet kluczowym działaniom w swojej pracy.
Cel modułu
Uczestnicy kursu mają nauczyć się identyfikować grupy zagrożone i bariery, jaki prawdopodobnie napotkają, analizować zasady inkluzywności w kontekście Ukrainy.
Czego nauczy ten moduł
- Wymienić najważniejsze zagrożone grupy i podgrupy w kontekście Ukrainy
- Przeanalizować główne zasady inkluzywności oraz jak je wprowadzać do programów: zarządzanie informacjami i danymi, kwestie barier, udział osób starszych i niepełnosprawnych, wzmacnianie ich możliwości
- Ocenić kluczowe koncepcje i bariery inkluzywności
- Wyjaśnić, jak priorytetyzować i stosować działania poprawiające inkluzywność planowanych programów w ramach pomocy humanitarnej

Moduł składa się z dwóch 60-minutowych sesji na żywo ze szkoleniowcem.

Kto powinien wziąć udział?
To szkolenie jest dla osób zaangażowanych w pomoc w związku z potrzebami humanitarnymi ludzi dotkniętych konfliktem na terenie Ukrainy i poza tym krajem, które chciałyby pracować w sposób inkluzywny pod względem płci, wieku czy niepełnosprawności. Uczestnicy mogą pracować lub być wolontariuszami w organizacjach zajmujących się pomocą humanitarną, rozwojem, prawami człowieka, organizacjach społecznościowych (CBO), skupiających osoby z niepełnosprawnościami (OPD), stowarzyszeniach osób starszych (OPA), organizacjach wyznaniowych (FBO), grupach praw kobiet i grupach młodzieżowych.
