This module is part of a series of four modules on project cycle management. The four modules are:
- Needs Assessment
- Project Identification and Design
- Project Planning and Implementation
- Monitoring and Evaluation
This module explores the key elements of planning that need to be undertaken when commencing a project: scope, time, resource, stakeholder and risk. It provides an overview of key tools that can be used for planning projects and allows learners the opportunity to consider ways to improve project planning processes to ensure that project implementation is smooth.
The module is contextualised for Ukraine and its neighbouring countries receiving refugees.
The module is a live session that will take place on zoom. The session provides opportunities for learners to actively participate in the session and to apply the learning to their own context.

To explore the tasks required during the project planning and implementation phases of the project cycle to ensure a project is successful.
Module Objectives
By the end of the session you will be able to:
- Explain the purpose of the project planning and implementation phases of the project cycle
- Describe the purpose and key tools used for planning, implementing and monitoring project scope, time, resources and stakeholder management
- List the steps involved in risk management
- Identify risk management strategies.
Course Structure
The module comprises a live facilitated session of 60 minutes’ duration .
Participants will be asked to watch a short video prior to the live sessions.
Who should attend?
Anyone responding to the humanitarian needs of people affected by the conflict inside and outside Ukraine, who would like to know more about how to plan and implement a project. This is a beginner level course.
This course is offered for free; on a first come, first served basis. We will be creating a waiting list, so please email us if the course is already full so we can keep you in mind if anybody drops out.
How to join
If you would like to attend, please register through Eventbrite. You will receive instructions on how to join the course after registration.
The live online sessions are hosted on Zoom. We recommend joining via the Zoom app. Participants may join the training via a browser, although the browser offers limited access to some of the interactive features of the training. Participants will be expected to have a stable internet connection and to actively participate in all facilitated sessions.
What is the language of the training?
Training will be facilitated by RedR UK international experts in the English language with simultaneous interpretation available in Ukrainian.

Hpass badge

Ten moduł jest częścią serii czterech modułów na temat zarządzania cyklem projektu. Te cztery moduły to:
- Ocena potrzeb
- Identyfikacja i opracowanie projektu
- Planowanie i implementacja projektu
- Monitorowanie i ocena projektu
Ten moduł omawia kluczowe elementy planowania, które należy rozważyć przed rozpoczęciem projektu: zakres, czas, środki, strony zainteresowane oraz ryzyko. Moduł prezentuje przegląd kluczowych narzędzi, które mogą posłużyć do planowania projektu i pozwala uczestnikom na rozważenie sposobów poprawy procesu planowania projektu, tak aby implementacja przebiegała gładko.
Moduł przedstawiany jest w kontekście Ukrainy i krajów sąsiadujących, które przyjmują uchodźców.
Ten kurs odbywa się na sesji na żywo online na platformie zoom. Uczestnicy mają możliwość brania aktywnego udziału w sesji oraz zastosowania nowych informacji w swoim własnym kontekście.
Cel modułu
Rozważenie zadań wymaganych do faz planowania i wdrażania projektu, tak aby projekt przebiegł z powodzeniem.
Czego nauczy ten moduł
W czasie modułu uczestnicy nauczą się:
- Wyjaśnić cel faz planowania i implementacji w cyklu projektu
- Opisać cel i kluczowe narzędzia stosowane w planowaniu, implementacji i monitorowaniu zarządzania zakresem, czasem, środkami i stronami zainteresowanymi projektu.
- Wymienić kroki związane z zarządzaniem ryzykiem
- Zidentyfikować strategie zarządzania ryzykiem
Struktura kursu
Moduł składa się z 60-minutowej sesji na żywo ze szkoleniowcem.
Kto powinien wziąć udział?
Każdy, kto angażuje się w pomoc humanitarną dla osób dotkniętych konfliktem przebywających na Ukrainie lub poza, a chce dowiedzieć się więcej na temat tego, jak zaplanować i wprowadzić w życie projekt. Ten kurs jest dla początkujących.

Znak Hpass
Po zakończeniu kursu uczestnicy będą mogli ubiegać się o Znak HPass, czyli cyfrową plakietkę, dzięki której można zasygnalizować posiadanie danych umiejętności i doświadczeń w sektorze pomocy humanitarnej.
