This is a free interactive online module, delivered live by RedR UK’s mental health experts. You will learn why and how we react to crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic. You will learn how to recognise, understand and manage reactions in yourself and others, including where you can go for help and how you can support others using psychological first aid.
This module is part of a three-module programme relating to Covid-19. The other modules cover Culturally Appropriate Hygiene Promotion for Covid-19 and Covid-19 Myth Busting. You may take all three modules or any module individually. You can look at our upcoming module dates here.
WHAT DOES THE COURSE COVER?
The module is designed for those working in the community in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in the UK. This includes NGO personnel, community group members, faith leaders, and volunteers. The module will be particularly beneficial for those who are living with heightened stress or anxiety and those living with or supporting people with heightened stress or anxiety.
For this module, RedR UK is also offering HPass Badging. An HPass badge is a digital indicator of achievement, and a way for participants to demonstrate their skills and experience. If you complete all three of RedR UK’s Covid-19 modules, you will receive a milestone badge. More information on HPass Badging can be found here.
