Jo de Serrano

Jo is RedR UK's CEO and has worked in international development for almost 20 years, working tirelessly to deliver the best emergency responses in the most pressing humanitarian crises.

At RedR UK, we take the threat of COVID-19 very seriously and have immediately put measures in place to protect the health and safety of our staff and people in the communities that we serve around the world.

Based on the guidance of the local authorities, our offices in London, Khartoum and Amman are now closed and all staff are working remotely except in exceptional circumstances. The situation in all three locations is being regularly assessed.

During this time, our operations will continue as normally as possible. Staff are reachable over email.

Face-to-face open and tailor-made courses scheduled in March  and April are postponed until further notice and we will keep participants updated as the situation evolves.  All course fees paid will be reimbursed in full, but we are unable to reimburse any other costs that may have been incurred, including flights, and accommodation. Please refer to our cancellation policy. If anyone has any questions about existing registrations, please contact us at training@redr.org.uk

The COVID-19 pandemic is unprecedented, but RedR UK stands ready to respond as it has done for the past 40 years. We are bringing RedR UK’s expertise in training people and organisations in emergencies into a global response, including responding in the UK for the first time, protecting vulnerable UK residents and people overseas.

We will update you as soon as our response evolves.

Thank you to our supporters, partners, clients, donors and trainers.

Stay safe and healthy.
